The debut album ¨Wooden Boxes & Thought Hunting¨ was recorded in Kalk Bay, Cape Town in the Winter of 2006. During a session of 20 or so tracks, the music was written song by song, in a very spur of the moment fashion. ¨This record marks a personal expansion and beginning for me, I remember coming up with parts in the hallway and running to the studio to lay them down. It was all pretty organic. I had just moved to Cape Town and life was quite new and wide open. I think that was captured in the album¨.
