Spanning over 7 years of a prolific career, the album contains B sides from all 3 of Eland's albums - Wooden Boxes & Thought Hunting (2006), Contraption Distoria (2010) and Midnight Atlas (2012).

Eland Gray usually records almost double the amount of songs for an album that actually make the final record, leaving a lot of unused work. "It's not about the B sides being inferior songs, they just don't always fit the tone of the record". Fans will be eager to hear the solo recordings that didn't make the final cut of Midnight Atlas, ultimately a quartet release.

Included in the album are 4 tracks from an unreleased EP recorded in early 2013, featuring mostly nylon guitar and psychedelics.The original solo Wooden Boxes version of "Toast", which ended up transforming as a Cabins in the Forest song. And a live studio instrumental piece with Guy Buttery on sitar, recorded literally the day Eland and Guy met in a studio soundtrack session in Durban, 2005.
